Week 3Objective: Students will learn the importance of sharing their salvation testimony and will be given a practical way to share it with others.
Key Thought: It's worth talking about. Lesson Summary: During this week’s lesson, your student learned that his or her own personal Jesus story, or salvation testimony, is something worth talking about with their friends. We worked through the following simple, four point outline they could use to share their salvation story: 1. What life was like before receiving Jesus Christ as Savior. 2. What the circumstances were that led me to receive Christ as Savior. 3. How life has changed since receiving Christ as Savior. 4. One of the verses upon which I base my salvation. Your student was asked to consider if indeed they do have a Jesus story to tell. If so, they were challenged to commit to share their story this week with at least one person. Parent Challenge: Will you make the commitment to join him/her in the process of Spiritual Fitness Training by using the Quiet Times together? See Pastor David for a free copy. Each day, spend a few minutes at breakfast or dinner sharing what you have each learned from God’s Word that day, as your relationship with the Lord and each other grows deeper. Contact your youth leaders to find out how you can purchase a personal Quiet Time from Word of Life. |
